Key Responsibilities ul> li>Metrics & Financials:
Oversees repair mechanics, manages work orders, handles breakdowns, vehicle recoveries, hazardous spill clean-up, and maintains repair facility sanitation. Manages department budget and processing claims. li>Innovation:
Identifies cost-saving and efficiency opportunities. li>Safety & Compliance:
Conducts safety tours, audits mechanic work, ensures regulatory compliance, and scheduled maintenance adherence. li>People & Training:
Leads, coaches, and develops team; supports diversity goals; trains new mechanics; maintains vendor relationships and parts inventory. /ul> Qualifications & Skills ul> li>Knowledge of safety standards for commercial vehicles. li>Strong communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office and fleet maintenance software. li>Ability to develop mechanic skills through audits and training. /ul> Experience & Education ul> li>High school diploma or equivalent.
li>At least five years in fleet maintenance, preferably with refrigeration and refrigerant handling experience. /ul> Working Conditions ul> li>Ability to work in extreme weather, noisy environments, and confined spaces. li>Physical ability to walk, sit, stand, bend, and perform repairs in various positions. li>Support distribution center operations as needed. /ul>#J-18808-Ljbffr
