POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:Ensures regular delivery of guides and publications to hoteliers and other partners. Deliveries are weekly, May through September, and monthly, October through April.
Ensures external electronic kiosks are in working order and maintained by notifying the Partnership Coordinator of any issues.
Assists in the inventory management of printed and promotional materials.
Assists with mass mailings and update sheets.
Assists with partnership and outreach events as needed.
Pick up receivables as needed.
Assists with customer service as a Dunes Ambassador as needed.
Performs other duties as assigned.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality when required.
Must be able to lift 30 pounds on a regular basis.
Must possess basic math skills.
Must be able to push, pull, stand, walk, and squat.
Posse ss stron g interpersonal and customer relations skills.
Ability to work both independently and effectively in a team.
Ability to work extended or irregular hours, including evenings and weekends as needed. Schedules can be flexible.
Must have a valid driver’s license and an acceptable driver’s record
Must provide your own transportation to and from work.
PERSONAL WORK RELATIONSHIPS:Maintains frequent communications with:
Indiana Dunes Tourism staff and members of the public.
Local business owners, property owners, managers, and government agencies.
The Distribution Coordinator reports directly to the Partnership Coordinator. Any unusual problems or situations that arise are referred to the President/CEO.
LICENSE/CERTIFICATION NEEDED:Valid driver’s license and demonstrated safe driving record.
