Job Overview
Client Relationship Consultants build relationships with customers, engaging them via multiple channels including in‑person, by appointment, and virtually to provide the best possible counsel while adopting a digital‑first mindset. They assess customers’ banking needs, process account information, educate clients on deposit and loan products, and recommend solutions based on each customer’s unique goals and needs.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain strong client relationships through proactive outreach and follow‑up.
- Assess and attend to customers’ banking needs and channel preferences.
- Educate clients on available deposit and loan products and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Open new consumer and business accounts, complete service requests, and submit credit applications.
- Provide a consistent optimal client experience, including greeting clients and processing basic transactions.
- Collaborate with branch team members and partners to best serve clients.
- Leverage digital products and self‑service technologies to optimize client experience and operational excellence.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Typically a minimum of three to four years of job‑related, retail banking experience or a combination of experience and applicable training.
- Proven ability to build and foster relationships with clients through proactive outreach and follow‑up.
- Strong communication skills and ability to effectively engage clients.
- Thorough knowledge of applicable bank and branch policies, procedures, and support systems.
- Proven customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Experience demonstrating digital products and self‑service technologies.
- Ability to explore and identify a customer’s true needs while leveraging a digital‑first mindset.
- Basic proficiency in making appropriate recommendations that meet customer needs both reactively and proactively.
- Experience in the financial services industry preferred.
Position requires National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) registration under the terms of the S.A.F.E. Act of 2008 and Regulation Z. Candidates will undergo a required registration process, including background and credit checks. Failure to meet or maintain any NMLS registration requirements may result in rescission of the offer or termination of employment.
