Shift: 2nd Shift
Hours:
2:45pm-11:15pm
Overtime required based on production need.
Compensation: $18.50/hourJob Responsibilities
- Starts machine and observes operation to ensure machine is operating properly.
- Stops machine and reports malfunction to supervisor.
- Makes minor adjustments or repairs such as opening valves, changing cutting dies, setting guides, clearing away damaged product containers, and setting machine zeros.
- Inspects filled packs to ensure that product is packaged according to specifications.
- Demonstrates good time management in choosing the best time to send your line to break when the lead is unavailable.
- Feeds product to conveyors.
- Mounts supplies such as film on spindles.
- Written Communication - Writes clearly and informatively;

Education and/or ExperienceHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED). Must have mechanical experience and/or a good understanding of mechanical functions.
Language SkillsMust be able to speak, read and write in English. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions and procedure manuals.
Mathematical SkillsAbility to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Reasoning AbilityAbility to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral form.
Computer SkillsTo perform this job successfully, an individual should have basic knowledge of computers and the ability to input data into a computer and touch screen.
