Job OverviewKeeps working areas in production departments of industrial establishment in clean and orderly condition by performing the following duties:
- Clean and sanitize drains and floors.
- Uses chemicals and equipment to sanitize and clean multiple areas.
- Disassembles, sanitizes, and cleans pipes, pumps and other production equipment.
- Transports trash and waste to disposal area.
- In certain areas, sorts and places leftover pallets in designated area at end of the shift.
Other duties may be assigned.

- Lift 50 pounds 100‑200 times during the shift.
- Stand and/or walk for the duration of the shift.
- Use hands to finger, grip, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms.
- Talk and hear.
- Occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- Close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
The work environment includes wet, humid, hot and/or cold conditions, moving mechanical parts, high precarious places, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and loud noise.

Education and/or ExperienceHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED).
Language SkillsMust be able to speak, read and write in English. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions and procedure manuals.
Mathematical SkillsAbility to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Reasoning AbilityAbility to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral form.
Computer SkillsBasic knowledge of computers and the ability to input data into a computer.
