Who We Are:

At Weaver Popcorn Manufacturing, every shift matters. From the first batch of the day to the last pallet shipped, our Machine Operators help create products enjoyed by families across the country.

As we continue expanding beyond popcorn into new snack categories, we're investing in our people just as much as our business. Whether you're beginning your manufacturing career or bringing years of experience, you'll find opportunities to learn, advance, and make a real impact.

We're looking for dependable people who take pride in producing quality products, working as a team, and finding better ways to get the job done.

Position Overview:

As a Machine Operator, you'll be responsible for safely operating production equipment while ensuring our products meet the highest standards for quality, food safety, and efficiency.

This is more than simply running a machine. You'll monitor production, identify opportunities to improve performance, troubleshoot issues, and work closely with your teammates to keep operations moving.

Every shift gives you the opportunity to develop new skills while contributing to the success of the entire facility.

In this role, you will:

Your responsibilities may include:

  • Complete production records and required documentation
  • Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and sanitation procedures
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
  • Communicate important production information during shift handoffs
  • Work with teammates and leaders to achieve daily production goals
  • Identify opportunities to improve safety, quality, and efficiency

A Typical Day Might Include:

Your shift begins with a team handoff where you'll review production goals, equipment status, and priorities for the day.

Throughout your shift, you'll monitor equipment, inspect products, make machine adjustments, complete quality checks, and respond to changing production needs. No two days are exactly alike, keeping the work engaging and rewarding.

At the end of your shift, you'll leave knowing your work helped deliver products that families across the country enjoy every day.

  • Stay focused in a fast-paced environment
  • Value teamwork and communication
  • Put safety first
  • Have a positive, solution-oriented mindset
  • Adapt well to changing production needs

Previous manufacturing or machine operation experience is helpful, but we're also excited to train individuals who are eager to learn and grow.

  • Average annual earnings of $50,232
  • $0.50/hour raise after 90 days
