Financial Center Manager III; Van Wert

Job Overview

Financial Center Manager III is responsible for achieving specified banking center performance goals, profitability, deposit and loan growth, and fee income. The role builds and leads a team focused on delivering exceptional client experience and deepening relationships with clients.

Essential functions include:

• Achieve specified banking center team service levels and performance goals.
• Build, develop, and lead a client‑focused team aligned with First Financial’s Mission and Values.
• Maintain an environment that fosters client loyalty and relationship development.
• Ensure banking center performance goals are met or exceeded, supporting overall district and regional objectives.
• Foster an inclusive and team‑oriented environment, leading communication and collaboration at all levels.
• Develop and lead a team knowledgeable in bank products, processes, policies, and procedures.
• Overall responsibility for managing banking center success, including daily operations, audit scores, and sales execution.
• Actively manage onboarding of new clients and conduct follow‑up calls within the proper timeframe.
• Manage overall financial center sales and performance, understanding its impact on district and company goals.
• Engage in coaching, recognition, and provide progress updates toward goals.
• Develop strong business relationships with key partners (Business Specialists, Worklife Specialists, Financial Wellness Advisors, Preferred Bankers, Private Bankers, Wealth Advisors, Mortgage Loan Officers, Commercial Partners).
• Integrate into the community, develop outside sales opportunities, and support site‑specific community events.
• Align day‑to‑day activities with The First Financial Bank Experience, ensuring associates deliver quality client experience and deepen relationships.
• Lead daily huddles and team meetings, attract new associates who align with the FFB/FOCUS culture, and support associate engagement.
• Assist District Leader and Retail Regional President with candidate interviews, conference call facilitation, and district/region communication.

• 4–5 years of demonstrated leadership, coaching, management, and/or mentoring in a retail environment.
• 4–5 years of success with multiple sales leadership processes and execution.
• 4–5 years of personal experience in sales and service with past success in achieving sales and service goals.
• 4–5 years of demonstrated success with achievement of performance goals.
• Must have working knowledge of banking policies and procedures.
• High school diploma or GED required;
  Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent banking work experience preferred.
• 4–5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Adherence to all compliance and regulatory procedures, including BSA, Check 21, CIP, CRA, HMDA, RegB, RegD, RegE, RegCC, Truth in Savings, Privacy Compliance, and the Patriot Act.

Pay Scale: $58,000 – $78,000 annually.
