Our brand-new substance abuse treatment center is seeking a dedicated Therapist to join our clinical team. This role is essential in supporting clients through all levels of care, from medical detox to outpatient services. The ideal candidate will hold an LSCW
, LPC, LSW, or LCDC I, II, or III in Ohio and must have prior experience in a primary substance abuse treatment setting
.
This position provides a meaningful opportunity to support clients in early recovery, deliver clinically-sound services, and help build the foundation of a new and growing program.
Schedule's Available:
Sunday - Thursday, Tuesday - Saturday, 8:00am - 4:30pm
- Provide individual counseling using evidence-based modalities appropriate for substance use disorders.
- Facilitate therapeutic group sessions
, promoting engagement, emotional processing, and recovery-focused learning. - Assist with intake and biopsychosocial assessments
, including developing initial treatment plans. - Collaborate closely with medical, clinical, and case management teams to ensure continuity of care across detox, residential, PHP, and IOP.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with state, federal, and program standards.
- Participate in treatment team meetings
, case consultations, and clinical supervision as required. - Support crisis intervention and safety planning when clinically necessary.
- Uphold all ethical, regulatory, and compliance standards, including confidentiality and scope-of-practice guidelines.
- Experience working in a primary substance abuse treatment setting (detox, residential, PHP, or IOP preferred).
- Strong skills in individual therapy, group facilitation, and assessment.
- Knowledge of addiction treatment modalities, trauma-informed care, and co-occurring disorders.
- Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment. - Commitment to high-quality, compassionate care for individuals in recovery.
