Machine Operator (2nd, 3rd and 4th Shift)

Our Danfoss facility in Van Wert, OH is actively seeking talent to join its operations to support in our Distribution, Assembly and other Production areas. The salary ranges for these positions are $17.50-$20.24/hour. Currently there are openings on several shifts: 8-hour workday/ 5 days per week schedules.

Machine Operators work safely and efficiently to perform the manual labor tasks in the production process such as:

• Operate and troubleshoot production machinery and performing minor repairs, as necessary.
• Load and unload the furnace and performing detailed quality checks of completed pieces.

* New Hires may be required to train on the 1st Shift which may take several weeks depending on the position and how quickly someone can meet the Individual Training Standards before being permanently assigned FT to this shift.

• Machine Operator I 1st and 3rd Shift
• Machine Operator II 1st, 3rd and 4th Shift
• Machine Operator III 1st and 3rd Shift

Note:
Effective June 1st several shifts will move to 4 days per week/10-hour workday; 4th shift will not be impacted.

• High School Diploma or GED
• Able to lift to 50 lbs on a regular basis
• Be able to work without sponsorship
• Speak English fluently written and verbally
• Able to read and understand blueprints, control plans, job instructions and measurement tools (i.e. measuring tape)
