CNC Setup Operator.

A CNC (Computer Numerical Control) Machine Operator is responsible for operating, setting up, and maintaining CNC machines to produce precision parts and components according to specified measurements. The operator will interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to produce high-quality products and ensure the machinery is in optimal working condition.

• Monitor the machine operations to detect malfunctions or errors.
• Adjust machine settings to improve the quality and efficiency of production.
• Crosstrain on different machines and part families per business needs
• Inspect finished products for defects, ensuring they meet quality standards and specifications.
• Use precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges) to verify product dimensions.
• Perform regular checks and maintenance on machines to ensure consistent quality and prevent breakdowns.

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in CNC machining or a related field is preferred.
• Previous experience as a CNC machine operator or in a similar role is highly desirable.
• Basic Computer Skills required (Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook)
• Read and interpret engineering blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD designs.
• Proficiency in operating CNC machines and understanding of CNC programming.
• Knowledge of machining processes and techniques.
