The Van Wert, OH Fiber plant is a part of the Consumer Products Division of a global leader in Consumer Products & Healthcare solutions. The Van Wert Fiber location will be a manufacturer of molded pulp egg carton products.
SummaryResponsible for setting up, operating and managing the printing process, ensuring accurate production of printed cartons by adjusting printer settings, monitoring quality, and troubleshooting issues.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Setup printer processes according to job specifications, including loading ink and plates.
- Adjust machine settings to optimize print quality, color accuracy, and application.
- Monitor printing runs to identify and address potential issues like misprints or color variations.
- Maintaining detailed run records, logging job numbers, print settings and quality issues.
- Inspect printers for defects and performs basic machine maintenance; elevate any machine repairs needed.
- Adheres to safety procedures, wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE), and reporting potential hazards.
- Mechanical aptitude.
- Attention to Detail – Ability to monitor printing process for defects.
- Ability to troubleshoot minor issues and identify quality issues.
- Physical stamina to handle plates and changeovers.
- Production facility with loud machinery and varying temperatures.
- May involve repetitive movements and standing for long periods.
No experience necessary – we will train you! "We grow people!" That means, you will eventually learn to operate all of the production equipment. The more skills you have, the more valuable you are as a team member!
The Company Offers- Competitive wage - $18/hour
- Benefits eligibility on 1st of the month following 30 days (medical/dental/vision insurance plus company-paid life, STD, & LTD)
