Job Summary
2 days per week, 7:30am – 4:00pm. The APP works with the Employer Solutions Physician in various ambulatory and onsite clinic settings to assess, diagnose, and treat workplace injuries and common acute illnesses, perform physical examinations—including Department of Transportation (Use the "Apply for this Job" box below). promote health and wellness among patients.
Responsibilities and Duties- Assess, diagnose, and treat workplace injuries and common acute illnesses.
- Perform physical examinations, including DOT exams.
- Carry out minimally invasive procedures.
- Promote patient health and wellness.
- Delegate tasks to clinic staff as appropriate.
- Maintain focus on safety, quality, and efficiency in all job duties.
Day shift. Scheduled weekly hours: 16.
Work location:
Department Associate Health, Van Worth.
- Master’s degree (required).
- AANP – American Association of Nurse Practitioners Certification.
- ANCC – American Nurses Credentialing Center certification.
- COA – Certificate of Authority as CNS (State of Ohio).
- CPR certification (American Red Cross).
- Registered Nurse (RN) license – Ohio Board of Nursing.
- Understanding of Ohio Bureau of Workers’ Compensation procedures and Official Disability Guidelines.
- Strong physical assessment skills for occupational injuries and common acute illnesses.
- Federal Motor Carrier Vehicle Safety Administration Certified Medical Examiner status.
- Proficiency in DOT examinations, Ohio Dept. of Education school bus driver physicals, and other state/federal regulated examinations (e.g., OSHA).
- Collaboration with the Employer Solutions Physician to ensure high‑quality patient care.
