Woodlands Grove Recovery Campus is looking for a Family Nurse Practitioner or Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to join our growing team.
We are a private rehab located on a beautiful 44 acre campus in Van Wert, Ohio. Our patients come from across the United States and around the world for medical detox, residential treatment and PHP. We care about getting to know the people we treat and giving them the support they need to build a lasting recovery.
What we offer- We offer flexible hours, competitive rates and bonus incentives.
- We are happy to discuss scheduling options based on your availability and the needs of our patients.
No two days are exactly alike. Our patients come to us with different medical needs, mental health concerns and personal struggles. Many arrive at one of the hardest points in their lives. They may be facing the loss of their family, custody of their children, a career or a job. Some have already experienced those losses and are trying to find a way forward.
We need someone who understands the seriousness of what our patients are going through. Compassion is essential, but so is being steady and confident when a patient is struggling. You need to be comfortable having difficult conversations, setting clear expectations and believing in a patient’s ability to recover even when they don’t believe in themselves. The work we do can save lives and we need someone who takes that responsibility seriously.

Documentation is a critical part of this position. We work with commercial insurance companies, and thorough, accurate and timely notes are essential for insurance billing and supporting requests for continued treatment. Your documentation needs to clearly explain the patient’s condition, the care provided, their response to treatment and the clinical reasons for continued care. We are looking for someone who takes this seriously and stays on top of their notes.
These are patients with real needs, and their records need to accurately reflect those needs.
- Applicants should have FNP or PMHNP certification and be licensed or eligible for licensure in Ohio.
- You should also have or be able to obtain the prescriptive authority and DEA registration needed for the position.
- Experience in addiction treatment, behavioral health, psychiatry, emergency medicine, primary care or detox is a plus but is not required.
- We value good clinical judgment and someone who is dependable, easy to work with and genuinely cares about our patients.
Our COO Gina Nichols would be happy to connect and talk about the position and what you are looking for in your next role.
