Quality Control Supervisor - Direct Hire
Van Wert, OH
Pay Rate: $28.00 - $36.00 per hour
1st shift (Must be willing to check in on other shifts as needed)

What It Takes to Keep Quality Tight- 1+ years of experience in food manufacturing or plastics
- Strong knowledge of metrology, calibration, and inspection methods
- Familiarity with HACCP, ISO 9001, and quality management systems
- Experience with SPC, data analysis, and technical reporting
- Ability to interpret technical specifications and manufacturing standards
- Proficiency in Excel, ERP systems, and quality software tools
- Strong leadership, communication, and training abilities
- High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, audit-driven production environment

- Lead, coach, and supervise the Quality Operators team
- Ensure compliance with food safety, food defense, HACCP, and quality system requirements
- Support and participate in regulatory, customer, and certification audits
- Oversee implementation of food safety culture, workplace safety, and environmental programs
- Manage calibration systems, metrological controls, and equipment verification programs
- Ensure traceability of certificates, inspection records, and quality documentation
- Conduct finished product inspections, raw material evaluations, and product release activities
- Lead investigations for non-conformances, complaints, and quality deviations
- Support Statistical Process Control (SPC) implementation and data analysis
- Develop, update, and maintain quality procedures, control plans, and technical documentation
- Ensure proper onboarding and training of employees in quality and operational standards
- Monitor corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to ensure effective resolution of issues
