Location: Van Wert, OH

Summary of Responsibilities

Prepare the OEM chassis for mounting with the module by installing the Braun electrical harness, installing the auxiliary lines for the A/C and heating unit, and installing other various options.

Summary of Activities
  • Receive, review and interpret instructions, prints and work orders for each unit
  • Verification and inspection of assemblies
  • Use machine and hand tools and running the plasma cutter and cutting torch
  • Cut, form and install components and install material within the vehicle
  • Installation of:
    Intersection, grill, flashing lights, harness system, heater, AC lines, siren speakers, ignition solenoid, AC, grill switches, sway bar, grill guards and after market bumpers
  • Installation of:
    Alternator grounds, neutral safety, security systems, door locks and suspension systems
  • Disassembly of chassis cab interior
  • Disconnection of chassis computer and battery cable preparation
  • Route air lines and mount tanks
  • Mount tanks if applicable
Technical Skills / Competencies
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Experience with small machinery, power, air and hand tools; and tape measure
  • Knowledge and experience with automotive servicing and/or repair
  • Knowledge and understanding of electrical schematics
Personality Traits / Core Skills
  • High communication with Mount and Module Wire Operators

  • Successfully pass a post offer drug test, as well as random, reasonable suspicion and post-accident drug and alcohol test thereafter
  • Ability to lift and move up to 100 pounds with assistance, regularly require to walk, talk and hear, reach with hands and arms, stand, crouch and kneel; frequently required to use hand to finger dexterity in order to handle objects, tools, and/or controls; occasionally required to stoop or crawl
