Job Title: Temporary Receptionist Job : 85877 Location: Vancouver, British Columbia

What you will be doing
  • Greet guests and employees in a friendly and helpful manner;
  • Receive and direct calls, conveying exemplary phone etiquette;
  • Maintain the general reception area, ensuring a professional and tidy appearance;
  • Coordinate incoming and outgoing mail and courier shipments, completing online waybills, customs declaration forms, and monitoring delivery status;
  • Record and distribute incoming and outgoing mail and couriers;
  • Liaise with building services/security regarding tenant issues;
  • Monitor inventory and place orders as needed;
  • Prepare and maintain files, reports, and other documentation as required;
  • Photocopying, scanning, faxing, and binding;
  • Manage meeting room calendar;
  • Assist with the booking of meetings when required, and notifying contacts of guests and catering arrivals;
  • Act as a member of the corporate office Emergency Response team;
  • Track attendance as required for evacuation purposes;
  • Assist with maintaining B2

    Gold’s Intranet pages;
  • Data entry and conduct online research as required;
  • Miscellaneous office duties as assigned; and
  • Perform other duties as required in support of Company objectives.
What you must have
  • High school diploma or equivalent completion of secondary education;
  • Minimum one year of previous experience working in an office administration role;
  • Intermediate user in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, and Outlook);
  • Ability to manage a multi-line phone system;
  • Ability to work with different cultures;
  • Excellent customer service skills;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Exemplary phone etiquette;
  • Able to work collaboratively in a team environment but also able to work independently with minimum supervision;
  • Strong multi-tasking, organizational, time-management skills with ability to prioritize;
  • Keen attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills;
  • Ability to be proactive, professional and thrive in a fast paced and dynamic environment;
  • Friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing with the ability to maintain confidentiality.
Job Demands/Physical Requirements
  • This position is based out of our Vancouver head office on a full-time basis.
  • Must be able to lift boxes weighing at least 20 lbs.
