Our busy podiatry clinic is seeking a friendly, organized, and outgoing Medical Office Assistant to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and enjoys interacting with patients while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
Key Responsibilities- Greet and assist patients in a professional and welcoming manner
- Schedule and confirm appointments
- Manage patient records and maintain accurate documentation
- Handle phone calls, emails, and patient inquiries
- Process billing, payments, and insurance information
- Assist with administrative tasks to support the clinical team
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient front office environment
- Provide basic information to clients and the public
- Obtain and process information required to provide customer service
- Record and relay information
- Receive and issue payments
- Perform clerical duties, such as filing and sorting and distributing mail
- Answer telephone and relay telephone calls and messages
- Provide customer service
- Complete insurance and other claim forms
- Order supplies and maintain inventory
- Enter and format electronically based medical reports and correspondence and prepare spreadsheets and documents for review
- Maintain filing system
- Initiate and maintain confidential medical files and records
- Determine and establish office procedures and routines
Medical office assistant/specialist certificate or diploma
Required Experienceat least 1 year medical office experience
Computer and technology knowledge- Word processing software
- Electronic mail

Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.

Group insurance benefits
Wage24.00 to 26.00 hourly (To be negotiated)
HoursFull Time: 40 hours per week
