Position: Receptionist / Administrative Assistant

Overview

Receptionist / Administrative Assistant Role Open Now! - 2 month contract. Agilus by Synergie is recruiting for a Receptionist / Administrative Assistant in the Administrative Sector in Vancouver, Ontario. Are you a proactive, polished professional who thrives in a fast-paced office environment? We’re seeking a friendly and organized Receptionist / Administrative Assistant to be the face and backbone of a busy corporate office.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative and energetic team, gain exposure to multiple business functions, and potentially transition into a long-term role with strong growth potential.

Responsibilities
  • Support meeting coordination using Outlook and Microsoft Teams
  • Assist with administrative tasks including expense processing
  • Ensure shared spaces are tidy and organized
  • Provide general administrative support to internal teams as needed
  • Greet and direct visitors in a professional and welcoming manner
  • Manage incoming calls via a phone system
  • Coordinate and distribute incoming/outgoing courier packages
  • Maintain front desk operations and general office organization

Required qualifications
  • 4+ years of experience in a receptionist and/or administrative role
  • Post-secondary diploma (or equivalent practical experience)
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Teams)
  • Experience working in a Canadian corporate office environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
  • High level of organization and ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Positive attitude, reliability, and strong work ethic
