Overview

About the company: CEFA Early Learning is a Canadian early-years education franchise serving children ages 1–6. Our schools offer full-day early learning and junior kindergarten programs delivered through a research-informed curriculum that integrates literacy, STEM, the arts, and physical education. With nearly 50 locations across Canada, we partner with franchise owners to deliver a consistent, premium experience supported by centralized training, operations, and marketing.

Role Overview: We are seeking a Business Intelligence Specialist to join our growing team. This role will be responsible for turning data into actionable insights that guide strategic decisions across marketing, enrollment, pricing, and operations. You will be the steward of CEFA’s data ecosystem—building and maintaining systems, integrating multiple data sources, and delivering dashboards and reports that support both head office and franchise partners.

Your expertise will drive informed decisions on enrollment growth, tuition pricing, market expansion, and overall organizational performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop KPIs, monitor strategic goals, and translate them into actionable tracking systems.
  • Gather and integrate data from multiple internal and external sources (CRM, enrollment, tuition, APIs, market research).
  • Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency across systems.
  • Design, test, and implement business intelligence solutions to support decision-making.
  • Develop, maintain, and automate Power BI dashboards and reports to track KPIs, OKRs, and enrollment metrics.
  • Conduct market analysis and surveys to assess competitive tuition pricing, enrollment trends, and new school opportunities.
  • Provide detailed analysis and scenarios for tuition and pricing strategy.
  • Research and evaluate market intelligence to guide school expansion, enrollment growth, and brand positioning.
Performance & Innovation
  • Monitor enrollment and CRM data to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities.
  • Provide data-driven insights that inform strategies to increase enrollment and optimize user experience.
  • Recommend and implement improvements in systems, integrations, and reporting processes.
  • Lead innovation initiatives around data analytics, technology stack enhancements, and market intelligence.
Operational & Cross-Functional Support
  • Collaborate with stakeholders (executives, managers, franchise partners) to capture reporting needs.
  • Support Market Fund budget analysis and financial forecasting with accurate data insights.
  • Manage and optimize project tracking through Asana and other platforms.
  • Ensure BI solutions meet business objectives with robust testing and validation.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or market research.
  • Strong technical skills in Power BI, CRM systems, data integration, and reporting tools.
  • Experience with pricing analysis, market surveys, and enrollment/education data is highly preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into clear insights and actionable strategies.
  • Familiarity with project management tools such as Asana.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Innovative mindset with a passion for leveraging data to improve decision-making and organizational performance.
