The Opportunity
Our client is seeking a dynamic, customer-facing Sales Director to lead their direct sales and distributor partnerships across the globe. This is a confidential search to reshape the sales leadership with someone who thrives in front of customers.
What You’ll Do
Work as a member of the senior leadership team to align Sales strategy with business strategy
Lead and coach a high-performing sales and marketing team
Drive strategic growth across commercial, defence, and recreational segments
Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and partners
Travel regularly to meet clients, attend industry events, and support field sales
Collaborate with product and engineering teams to align customer needs with solutions
Develop and execute sales plans, forecasts, and performance metrics
What You Bring
Proven success in leading B2B sales teams in manufacturing or marine sectors
Strong customer-facing skills and ability to travel regularly
Experience with complex sales cycles and technical products
Strategic mindset with hands‑on leadership style
Background in marine hardware, defense contracting, or advanced manufacturing
Familiarity with CRM systems and sales analytics tools
