Role Description

We are looking for a motivated, organized, and relationship-driven individual to help build and grow our corporate gifting program from the ground up. This role blends sales, coordination, and light project management
, with a strong focus on creating new business and establishing processes that will allow the program to scale. You will play a meaningful role in shaping how corporate gifting works within the business. A strong eye for design and aesthetics is important in this role. Corporate gifting at The Valley Living is not transactional — it is thoughtful, brand-forward, and visually considered.

You’ll be involved in recommending gift concepts, packaging options, and presentation details, while working within established brand and pricing frameworks. This is an ideal role for someone who enjoys building systems, connecting with people, and owning projects from start to finish
, and who is excited by commission-based upside as the program grows.

Qualifications
  • 2–5 years of professional experience (sales, admin, hospitality, real estate, marketing, or events)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Attention to detail, organized, proactive, and comfortable following up
  • Confident speaking with clients and managing multiple timelines
  • A strong eye for design and aesthetics, with an appreciation for brand, packaging, and presentation
  • Able to think visually when recommending gift concepts and packaging options
  • Comfortable working within clear pricing and approval frameworks
  • Excited to help build something from the ground up, not just maintain it
  • Comfortable with commission-based incentives

This is a part-time position
, starting at 8–12 hours per week
, with the potential to grow as the corporate gifting program expands (particularly in Q4). The role is based in Squamish, BC
. Ideally, we are looking for someone who can work in-office/shop two times per week
, collaborating closely with the team and becoming familiar with our products, packaging, and brand standards. We are also open to a Vancouver-based remote candidate
, provided they are available to be onsite in Squamish for a minimum of two in-person visits per month to support collaboration, planning, and hands-on gifting projects. Flexibility is important, but in-person connection and brand immersion are key to success in this role.
