Our client, a leading international professional services firm, is seeking a
Marketing and Business Development Specialist to join their Vancouver office. This position offers an exciting opportunity to support a high-performing team in a fast-paced,
collaborative environment. The role focuses on marketing strategy, business development initiatives, proposal support, and account management, helping to drive client engagement and firm visibility.
This role is a full-time permanent opportunity, requiring the successful candidate to work on-site at the client's office in Vancouver 5 days per week. Candidates must be elligible to work in Canada.
Responsibilities:Identify and support new business and marketing opportunitiesPlan and coordinate events, sponsorships, and seminars (some travel and after-hours work may be required)Collaborate with designers to develop marketing materialsCoordinate legal directory submissions and award nominationsUpdate promotional materials, brochures, and biosAssist in the preparation of high-quality RFP responses and presentationsCollaborate with internal teams to gather information and ensure timely submissionsTrack and analyze proposal outcomes to identify trends and areas for improvementSupport the development and implementation of strategic account plansResearch and evaluate new business opportunities and prospectsPrepare marketing research reports using firm tools and resourcesMonitor performance and progress of account management activitiesDevelop a working knowledge of the firm’s practice areas and client baseStay informed on relevant industries and business segmentsQualifications:5–7 years of experience in marketing or business development, preferably in a professional services or legal environmentUndergraduate degree in Marketing, Business, or related field, or completion of a relevant diploma programProficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word)Familiarity with CRM systems such as Interaction is an assetStrong writing, organizational, and communication skillsPreferred Qualifications:Previous experience supporting RFPs, events, or sponsorshipsBilingualism (e.g., French, Mandarin, Cantonese) considered an assetAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a deadline-driven environment
