Overview

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Market Intelligence and Managing Director, this role includes daily market analysis on the Greater Vancouver market in a fast‑paced environment. This role is best suited for someone who is passionate about real estate with an analytical mindset.

The base salary is aligned with market data and is estimated between $60,000 to $65,000 with the ability to achieve additional compensation through a bonus. This salary range reflects base compensation for the position across all Canadian locations. Within this range, individual pay is determined by work location and other factors, including relevant education/training, experience, and internal equity.

Responsibilities

The key responsibilities of the Market Intelligence Analyst include, but are not limited to, the following

  • Conducts a variety of information searches (availability, vacancy/sale, tenant information, transaction information, title information, zoning/planning restrictions, demographics, etc.) utilizing internal and external resources
  • Participate in the production of regular quarterly reports on the Greater Vancouver market, compiling the quarterly statistics and providing analysis and commentary on vacancies, net rental rates, new supply/inventory, and market trends
  • Prepare statistical and market monitor reports and decks to be utilized in proposals and presentations
  • Establish and maintain business relationships internally and externally with landlords, brokerages, property managers, municipalities, and other commercial real‑estate‑related companies to gather and confirm listing and transaction information
  • Participate in regular internal leasing meetings, market discussions and in research conference calls
  • Any other special projects / duties as required
