Our client is a growing project delivery and resource development firm supporting large-scale mining and infrastructure projects across North America. They are seeking a Business Development Representative to help drive growth and strengthen client relationships as the company expands its operations.
This is a full-time, in-office position based in downtown Vancouver.
Key Responsibilities- Generate new business opportunities through calls, emails, and social outreach to prospective clients and partners.
- Schedule meetings and introductions for senior business development personnel.
- Support proposals, client follow-ups, and business development coordination.
- Attend networking events and industry functions to expand relationships and visibility.
- Maintain accurate client and lead data in the CRM system.
- Collaborate with leadership to refine outreach strategies and identify new markets.
- Occasionally travel for client meetings or industry events.
- 1–3 years of experience in sales, business development, or client‑facing roles; experience in engineering, mining, or industrial sectors is an asset.
- Outgoing, self‑motivated, and organized, with strong communication skills.
- Able to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
- Curious and eager to learn about resource development and project delivery.
- Post‑secondary education in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred but not required.
- Competitive compensation: $70,000–$80,000 base salary, plus commission (estimated at $10,000–$15,000) and performance‑based bonus potential.
