Senior Proposal Manager
A business development career in Sales Enablement and Proposals, within the Business Enablement practice at PwC Canada, will provide you with the opportunity to focus on positioning a distinctive PwC brand in the marketplace and drive long‑term revenue growth for the firm. We are looking for a Senior Proposal Manager to join our national proposal management team. The successful candidate will be contributing to the development of high‑quality, impactful, winning proposals and finalist presentations, with a special focus on large Audit and Tax proposals.
The Senior Proposal Manager will play a key role working as part of various pursuit teams, industries and regions, working closely with our team's proposal specialists onshore and offshore. The successful candidate will provide strategic pursuit guidance, offer comprehensive proposal management support, and help prepare teams for oral presentations with an emphasis on building confidence and credibility.
As a Senior Proposal Manager, you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers and creative minds , helping to solve business issues, deliver superior client service and enhance operational efficiency. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Manage the complexity of multiple proposals, with a focus on project management and quality assurance, managing the proposal process from planning kick‑off meetings to submitting final deliverables (written proposals and/or presentations)
- Ensure compliance with RFP mandatory requirements
- Assist engagement teams on using the right strategy and tactics to improve their success rate in winning business
- Help edit or write compelling value propositions and assist client service teams to articulate clear competitive differentiation
- Assist with the development of client presentations related to strategic pursuits and provide finalist presentation coaching to help teams deliver more impactful pitches
- Conduct bid/no‑bid meetings and undertake win‑loss debriefs, as required
- Be a champion of the firm's SRM system, and advocate for its effective use
- Drive adoption of the firm's standard sales and business development methodology
- Continuously grow internal firm relationships to expand your network and understanding of the firm's capabilities
- Extensive experience in proposal management and new business pursuits, and ample experience in a consulting and/or professional services environment – Experience in an accounting firm or financial environment preferred
- Interest in upskilling for a digital world that includes AI solutions, and openness to learning new tools and adapting how you work
- Comprehensive knowledge of the entire proposal process, and the ability to manage complex engagements
- Experience in preparing teams for oral/finalist presentations is an asset
- Excellent planning, organizational and time management skills
- Proven ability to produce high quality work while facing competing priorities and strict deadlines
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize activities, and stay focused in a dynamic, ever‑changing environment
- Adaptability and the ability to handle ambiguity

The salary range for this position is $98,000 – $148,000. The posted salary range represents the expected hiring range for PwC locations in major city centres. Given our national recruiting approach, ranges may vary for positions in other locations. At PwC Canada, base salary is determined by your skills, experience, qualifications and work location. In addition to base salary, eligible employees may have opportunities to participate in variable incentive pay programs which are designed to reward individual and firm‑wide achievements.
