Take charge of Mitacs' national sector strategy as a Senior Advisor for Strategic Partnerships. Enhance innovation through impactful industry relationships and funding strategies.
Mitacs is looking for a Senior Advisor to lead sector initiatives in areas such as Life Sciences and Entrepreneurship.
Your role involves defining and executing the sector strategy, building key partnerships, and ensuring alignment with Mitacs’ national innovation goals. You will facilitate collaboration among stakeholders to strengthen the innovation ecosystem in your sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement sector strategies for Mitacs
• Collaborate on Federal and Provincial funding strategies
• Build relationships with industry stakeholders
• Monitor sector targets and delivery results
• Identify opportunities for partnership development
Requirements:
• Minimum of 5 years of strategic partnership experience
• Proven success in negotiating agreements
• Ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments
• Familiarity with the sector ecosystem
• Proficient in English; knowledge of French is a plus
