Position: Buyer with Heidelberg Materials
Join Heidelberg Materials as a Buyer specializing in procurement across Seattle, Vancouver, or Edmonton. Ensure operational success by effectively managing sourcing and supply chain activities for our multiple locations.

In this role, you will work within a collaborative environment, supporting plant needs across North America. You will be responsible for issuing and tracking purchase orders, managing supplier relationships, and optimizing inventory. Ideal candidates will possess a strong understanding of purchasing practices, with experience in construction or manufacturing settings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Procure materials and services to meet operational demands

• Issue and manage purchase orders for timely fulfillment

• Collaborate with teams across Seattle, Vancouver, and Calgary

• Evaluate and manage suppliers based on quality metrics

• Resolve purchasing issues with stakeholders

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred

• At least 2 years in procurement or contract management

• Familiarity with SAP/Ariba and MS Office applications

• Strong analytical skills for decision making
