This temporary, full-time position in the External Relations Department focuses on enhancing public understanding of liquid waste initiatives. You will develop vital communication strategies and collaborate with various stakeholders to facilitate community involvement.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create newsletters and essential communication tools
• Communicate with stakeholders about project impacts
• Plan public engagement sessions and activities
• Respond to inquiries from the community
• Support project managers with presentation preparations
Requirements:
• High school diploma with a background in communications
• Knowledge of Metro Vancouver's objectives and programs
• Excellent analytics and communication skills
• Experience managing public events
• Driver’s license valid in British Columbia
