Responsibilities
  • Develop and sign local core-category and key merchants to expand Fantoan’s merchant coverage and market share in the city.
  • Acquire high-value, differentiated, and strategic KA merchants based on city-level business strategy.
  • Manage commercial operations for key merchants, including pricing negotiation, contract optimization, and planning/executing promotional activities.
  • Analyze merchant data (orders, GMV, cost structure, etc.) to continuously drive merchant growth and retention.
  • Develop and execute local BD plans aligned with the company’s city-level growth targets, including market insights, competitive analysis, and category opportunity identification.
  • Collaborate with operations, marketing, and merchandising teams to drive overall city growth strategies.
  • Lead and advance BD-side key projects, such as KA category sourcing, major seasonal campaigns, and category growth initiatives.
  • Coordinate cross-functional resources to ensure efficient execution of business projects.
  • Provide methodology support and coaching to junior BD members to enhance overall team performance.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in BD, sales, merchant operations, retail, or local service platforms.
  • Background in food delivery platforms, retail chains, supply chain, or brand channels is preferred.
  • Strong business negotiation skills, relationship management ability, and project execution capability.
  • High data sensitivity, able to identify merchant/category growth opportunities through analysis.
  • Strong execution ability, capable of working independently under high pace and pressure.
  • Results-driven with strong ownership, willing to take on challenging goals.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
  • High level of professionalism and learning agility.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle.
