Senior Procurement Specialist

Position: Senior Procurement Specialist at Woodfibre LNG
Drive operational success with Woodfibre LNG as a Senior Procurement Specialist. This Vancouver-based role demands expertise in supply chain management, procurement, and contract administration.
At Woodfibre Management Ltd., you will facilitate procurement activities vital for LNG plant operations and reliability. Your responsibilities include managing contracts, ensuring optimal supplier performance, and optimizing operational excellence initiatives. Reporting directly to the Supply Chain Manager, you will engage with suppliers to nurture local and indigenous relationships and support procurement lifecycle management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage procurement and contract processes for LNG operations

• Conduct RFx processes for significant purchases

• Analyze and qualify potential suppliers based on criteria

• Monitor ongoing contracts and key performance indicators

• Collaborate on SAP implementation for efficient operations
Requirements:

• 10+ years in operations procurement and supply chain

• Knowledge of the BC marketplace and local communities

• Degree in engineering, business, or related fields

• Experience in oil and gas projects preferred

• Strong communication and multitasking skills
