Elevate building standards with DIALOG as a Senior Specifications Writer. This role merges creativity with technical expertise to enhance community-focused designs.
As part of a multi-disciplinary team, you will engage in creating detailed specifications while leading project initiatives. You'll collaborate closely with architects and engineers, offering insights based on your building science knowledge. This position offers flexibility with studios located in Calgary, Edmonton, Ottawa, Toronto, or Vancouver.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead project specifications and mentor junior specifiers
• Guide project teams on contract procedures and specifications
• Stay updated on building science and sustainability practices
• Write and edit comprehensive architectural specifications
• Participate in proposal development and represent DIALOG
Requirements:
• Degree in architecture or engineering, or relevant diploma
• Strong background in construction contract administration
• Direct experience in specification formats and systems
• Green building awareness, particularly in LEED and WELL
• Capable of guiding diverse project management teams
