Play a pivotal role in professional regulatory practices with the Chartered Professional Accountants of British Columbia (CPABC) as the Associate Director of Professional Conduct. This full time position is vital for ensuring adherence to high professional standards. As you report to the Vice President of Professional Conduct, you will support processes that regulate members and firms effectively.
Key Responsibilities- Lead complex investigations on conduct complaints
- Generate investigation reports for review by Committees
- Draft recommendations based on committee inputs
- Act as a witness during discipline hearings
- Improve regulatory processes and systems
- CPA designation required
- Minimum three years in Public Practice at a CPA firm
- Minimum three years’ experience in investigations
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure
