As a Senior Indigenous Relations Specialist, you will report to the Vice President of Indigenous Business and Relations, directing Stantec’s efforts to build and manage relationships with Indigenous groups. Your focus will include fostering internal awareness and enhancing recruitment and retention strategies for Indigenous staff, ensuring Stantec addresses community interests effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Forge relationships with Indigenous leadership and communities

• Influence Indigenous priorities in business development

• Lead collaborative initiatives with regional leaders

• Central coordination for Stantec’s Indigenous partnerships

• Develop Indigenous engagement strategies and plans
Requirements:

• Over 8 years of experience in Indigenous relations

• Strong understanding of BC Indigenous communities and cultures

• Experience in strategic program implementation

• Superior written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to manage complex relationships and initiatives
