Job Description
This role leads the strategy and delivery of customer-facing products that drive membership acquisition for a large, global subscription program. As a Technical Program Product Manager III, you will define and execute the vision and roadmap for acquisition offers, including trials, incentives, and third-party partnerships. You will operate at the intersection of product, technology, and business, working across science, design, legal, and executive teams to create compelling offers that deliver exceptional customer experiences and measurable growth.
Responsibilities
Own and drive the strategic vision and roadmap for membership acquisition offers, including trials, incentives, and third-party partnerships.Define detailed product requirements and translate business goals into clear, actionable specifications for engineering and partner teams.Partner with multiple technology teams to plan, execute, and deliver scalable, high-quality customer-facing products and features.Lead complex, cross-functional initiatives in a highly matrixed environment, coordinating with science, design, legal, and executive stakeholders.Develop and implement acquisition strategies that align to a central global vision while accounting for local market nuances and complexities.Participate in and contribute to engineering discussions, influencing technology decisions and long-term technical strategy related to your products.Use data-driven insights to optimize offers and customer experiences, leveraging experimentation and performance metrics to guide prioritization.Advocate for a wide range of customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning, ensuring that customer needs and business outcomes remain central.Earn trust and build strong relationships with global and local teams to ensure alignment, effective communication, and successful delivery of initiatives.Thrive in an entrepreneurial environment by identifying opportunities, removing obstacles, and driving initiatives from concept through launch and iteration.Essential Skills
At least 5 years of technical product management or technical program management experience.Proven experience driving end-to-end product or program delivery in complex, cross-functional environments.Experience contributing to engineering discussions and influencing technology decisions and strategy for a product.Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives and stakeholders simultaneously.Bachelor’s degree.Experience in technical program management or a closely related discipline.Experience in software development environments or working closely with software engineering teams.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience representing and advocating for diverse customer and stakeholder needs during executive-level prioritization and planning.Experience performing statistical analysis of data using SQL, Excel, or similar tools to inform decisions and optimize outcomes.Ability to work effectively in a highly matrixed, global organization and collaborate with science, design, legal, and executive teams.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to product decisions.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to influence without direct authority.Experience with project management practices and tools in a software development context.Work Environment
This role is based in a modern corporate office environment in Vancouver, BC, Canada. You will work closely with distributed global teams across time zones, collaborating frequently with technology, science, design, legal, and business stakeholders. The position involves typical office-based work using standard productivity and collaboration tools, with a focus on software and data-driven product development.
