About the Role

We are looking for a strategic and hands‑on Vice President of Operations & Systems to evaluate, streamline, and modernize how our business operates. This role will report directly to the Chief Operations Officer.

This role will lead a comprehensive review of current processes, workflows, and systems across retail, e‑commerce, inventory, logistics and vendor management, clienteling, and internal operations to identify opportunities to improve efficiency, scalability, execution, and cost effectiveness.

Working closely with leadership, you will assess current‑state operations, identify friction points, and design a more integrated and scalable operating model supported by the right processes, systems, and technology, and AI‑enabled solutions.

A key focus includes strengthening inventory management and controls, including inventory counts, accuracy, reporting, and visibility. You will also support financial planning and operational decision‑making through business analysis, financial acumen, and data‑driven insights. You will partner cross‑functionally to streamline workflows, improve accountability, and enhance loss prevention.

Success in this role means reducing complexity, improving cost efficiency, increasing system adoption, strengthening inventory and operational accuracy, improving cross‑functional data flow, and enabling faster, higher‑quality decision‑making across the business through the effective use of AI, automation, and analytics.

This role may be based in Vancouver, BC or Toronto, ON, and will require occasional travel.

Responsibilities Business Process Optimization
  • Evaluate and optimize end‑to‑end workflows across retail, e‑commerce, inventory, clienteling, and internal operations to improve efficiency, scalability, and execution.
  • Identify operational gaps and redesign processes to streamline, standardize, and automate workflows across the business.
  • Develop and implement scalable operating models, SOPs, and best practices that enable consistency, operational excellence, and long‑term growth.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, efficiency, and overall customer and employee experience.
  • Leverage AI tools and automation opportunities to redesign and optimize operational workflows.
  • Assess the current technology ecosystem and partner with technology leadership to define scalable system architecture and identify opportunities to optimize, consolidate, or implement business systems.
  • Partner closely with the technology lead to align business needs with systems architecture and scalable solution design
  • Improve system connectivity, automation, and end‑to‑end data flow to enable accurate, real‑time business insights and operational efficiency.
  • Drive system adoption through training, change management, and cross‑functional enablement.
  • Oversee testing, rollout planning, and business readiness to ensure successful implementation of new tools, systems, and processes.
  • Oversee operational financial performance, inventory management, and logistics functions to drive profitability, scalability, and service excellence.
  • Partner with leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning to support strategic decision‑making and business growth.
  • Develop and maintain KPI frameworks, dashboards, and reporting tools to ensure visibility, accountability, and data‑driven decision‑making across the organization.
