We are looking for a Silviculture Supervisor to manage diverse projects in British Columbia. This full-time position offers a blend of field and office responsibilities, focusing on advanced silviculture practices and software proficiency.
In this permanent role, you will coordinate silviculture programs and support junior staff, ensuring compliance with provincial standards. Your responsibilities include conducting and verifying surveys, maintaining data integrity, and facilitating effective logistics across multiple projects while liaising with various stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and implement silviculture projects effectively
• Supervise junior forestry team members
• Conduct compliance surveys per regulations
• Utilize SNAP! and Plant Wizard for accurate data
• Manage project logistics and resource allocation
Requirements:
• Minimum 2 years of experience in silviculture
• Familiar with SNAP! and Plant Wizard software
• Valid Class 5 BC driver's license needed
• Level 1 First Aid certification required
• Detail-oriented and organized
