Workplace Violence Prevention Advisor

In this critical role, you will shape and execute violence prevention programs to ensure a safe working environment. Your expertise will be pivotal in training safety officers in trauma-informed practices and working closely with province-wide Violence Prevention Committees. Through communication and collaboration, you will help inform action plans based on violence data while ensuring compliance with OH&S standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and execute violence prevention programs across PHC

• Deliver training sessions on trauma-informed practices

• Analyze violence data to inform action plans

• Communicate with province-wide Violence Prevention Committees

• Champion safety culture and ensure compliance through inspections

Requirements:

• Education in health and safety or similar discipline

• 5+ years in a unionized healthcare workplace

• Knowledge of health and safety legislation

• Strong leadership and communication skills

• Proven ability in organization and collaboration
