Risk and Resilience Program Coordinator

Shape airport safety with YVR as a full-time Program Coordinator focused on Risk and Resilience. Drive operational readiness and develop continuity plans that enhance airport efficiency.

This term position runs through July 2027, where you'll collaborate across the airport community to refine operational strategies. With a commitment to continuous improvement, you'll enhance business continuity and mitigate operational risks. Your insights will ensure the airside teams are well-equipped and informed to execute vital safety plans effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and enhance operational and contingency plans

• Manage the FOD Management and Aircraft Recovery Plans

• Plan and lead tabletop exercises for operational readiness

• Identify and mitigate operational risks through assessments

• Represent operations in emergency preparedness initiatives

Requirements:

• Minimum three years of experience in an airport operational environment

• Strong knowledge of Canadian aviation regulations

• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills

• Proven planning and analytical abilities

• Valid Class 5 driver’s license needed
