Operations Change Analyst
We are at the beginning of aglobal energy transformationof a scalenot seenin generations.
A future low-cost, low-carbonelectricgrid, serving a world thatelectrifies everything,is within our reach.
The last remaining gap is breaking the link between electricity supplyand demand. Thelowest-cost, most sustainablesources ofenergytoday come from intermittent renewable generation;but our homes, businesses and industries needelectricity at the flick of a switch.
That gap can be closed by energy storage:
Devices that store electricity when it is plentiful, then provide powerback to the grid when it is needed.
Solutions, includingones usinglithium-ion batteries, are being deployed in massive numberstostart filling thisgap. But so far, none of those solutionshave proventhe abilityto deliverpowerany time, anywhere, over decades of service:
The level of reliabilitywe’vecome to expect, and that the future grid will need.
This is the biggest challenge in energy today. Invinity is at the forefront of finding a solution. And we need you to help us deliver it.
Developed, manufacturedand delivered by our teams in Canada and the UK,Invinity’svanadium flow batteries(or “VFBs”)can be installed anywhere and consistently deliver electricityasneeded over a service life exceeding
30years.
Moreover,Invinity’sVFBs are highly recyclable, don’trely on rare or conflict minerals, andwon’tcatch fire.
Invinityis a globalVFBleader, with over 190 megawatt-hours of its batteriesoperational or inconstructionforover
82 projects across 15 countries - more than any otheremergingenergy storage provider.
We’vedeployed the largest flow battery systems in the U.S., Canada, Australia, and the UK. Along the waywe’veearned financial support fromthe UK Infrastructure Bank, the U.S. Department of Energy, and some of the world’s leading institutional investors.
The Operations Change Analyst coordinates, analyzes, and supports the execution of operational, manufacturing, supplier, service, and engineering changes across Invinity Energy Systems. This role ensures that changes are correctly classified, accurately reflected in operational systems, implemented efficiently, and verified with minimal disruption to production, service, quality, cost, or delivery commitments. The role works cross-functionally with Engineering, Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, Manufacturing Engineering, Supplier Development / Supplier Quality, and external partners to maintain execution discipline and clear visibility across the change lifecycle.
This role reports to Supplier Development / Strategic Sourcing.
Reporting and ownership
Reporting and ownership:
This role reports into Supplier Development / Strategic Sourcing and acts as the operational change-control coordinator for approved engineering, manufacturing, supplier, and service changes. The role is accountable for maintaining change visibility, coordinating execution readiness, and ensuring that operational systems, supplier information, cost data, and validation evidence remain aligned to approved change decisions.
- Classify and manage types of changes including documentation changes, non‑revision changes, and manufacturing change orders (MCOs).
- Analyze operational, inventory, cost, timing, and risk impacts of changes.
- Perform inventory analysis to identify exposure, disposition actions, and planning impacts.
- Maintain Item Master and Cost Master information aligned to approved changes.
- Ensure accuracy of part attributes, lifecycle states, costing, and effectivity in Operations.
- Prepare BOM exports and documentation for Manufacturing Engineering, Supplier Development and other Operations team members for use at CMs, and suppliers.
- Coordinate validation activities such as FAI, PPAP, capability studies, test reports, qualification builds, and process validation evidence.
- Track and document completion of validation activities.
- Follow up on Change Implementation activities
- Ensure manufacturing and quality documents are indexed as required by Engineering changes including PFMEAs, Control Plans, Process Flow Diagrams, Work Instructions, and Inspection Plans.
- Coordinate implementation plans for…
