Overview:
The Business Decision Support Professional Level 1 facilitates complex decision-making in support of the design and implementation of business change or improvement initiatives.
What you will be doing:
A minimum eight (8) years of strategic business analysis experience or equivalent.
Translate business insights into strategic, actionable options by obtaining and organizing key business information, enabling informed decision-making.
Facilitate decision-making across diverse groups of stakeholders by using excellent skills in communication, critical thinking, and persuasive influencing to deliver recommendations that align to the business goals.
Maintain meaningful business relationships by prioritizing strategic considerations in a complex environment with diverse groups of stakeholders so that projects are implemented as planned.
Plan and organize business initiatives by using knowledge in business drivers, risk tolerance, and trade-off processes, to enable successful integration and adoption in the company’s complex and regulated environment.
Experience in strategic business analysis, providing insights and recommendations to support decision-making.
Experience working in a B2B environment, preferably supporting commercial, industrial, or large enterprise customers with an understanding of business customer needs and operational priorities.
Demonstrated project management experience, managing multiple initiatives and competing priorities in a complex business environment.
Ability to support marketing campaigns, business initiatives, and stakeholder engagement activities.
Experience conducting customer, market, and business analysis to support business objectives.
Strong communication, stakeholder management, and business acumen, with the ability to engage effectively with commercial and industrial customers.
Ability to collaborate across multiple teams and support business-facing priorities.
Bachelor’s degree in in Business Administration, Economics, Marketing, Project Management, Communications, or a related discipline.
Experience planning and supporting B2B events, stakeholder meetings, customer engagement activities, and business initiatives.
Strong organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
Self-starter with a proactive approach to identifying opportunities, solving problems, exercise sound judgement, and drive work forward to completion.
Experience supporting business products, account management activities, or business development initiatives involving commercial and industrial customers.
Strong attention to detail with proven ability to coordinate projects, track deliverables, and support program execution.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and CRM/customer management tools), including preparing reports, presentations, and business insights.
What you must have:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Law, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or related discipline
Advanced English skills for professional environment, written and spoken
Experience preparing reports, briefings, summaries and presentations for a variety of audiences.
Knowledge of energy, utilities, sustainability, energy management, or regulated industry sector
Experience or training in project management and CRM platforms/customer databases
Salary/Rate Range: $47.00 -$58.00 per hour
Term:12-month contract; most likely to extend
