Corporate Governance Leader at YVR

Shape the future of governance at YVR as the Corporate Governance Manager. This key role enhances Board effectiveness and oversight through an integrated governance framework in a flexible work setting.

You will report to the Vice President Communications and play a vital role in facilitating efficient governance practices. Your responsibilities will include leading Board operations, managing governance disclosures, and ensuring compliance with legal requirements. You will also coach the Executive Team and oversee the Secretariat's performance and strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain annual Board and committee calendars and agendas

• Develop and manage governance materials and protocols

• Support Board assessments and improvement plans

• Custodian of all governance records and policies

• Lead governance content for public reporting

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in governance-related field

• At least seven years of corporate governance experience

• In-depth knowledge of Canada Not-for-profit Corporations Act

• Proven ability to manage sensitive governance issues

• Outstanding analytical and communication skills
