Nanny

Two friendly families are seeking a reliable, warm, and experienced nanny to care for our two 3-year-old boys in a shared arrangement.

Both children attend school Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–4:00 PM, so this role is primarily early-morning or after-school evenings plus full-day coverage on school holidays and professional development days.

One family is in Kits and the other is in Yaletown.

Schedule & Hours

• During the school year:
Approximately 25 hours per week, either in the mornings (6am to 10am) or evenings (4pm to 8pm), split between the two families

• School holidays & professional development days:
Approximately 40 hours per week with full-day coverage (about 9:00 AM–5:00 PM), looking after the two boys

• Exact schedule to be coordinated in advance; some flexibility appreciated

Responsibilities

• Caring for one or both children depending on the day

• Engaging toddler in age-appropriate play and activities

• Preparing meals/snacks as needed (breakfast, lunch, or dinner depending on time of day)

• Tidying up (clean-up after dinner, place dishes in dishwasher, toddler laundry, etc.)

• Supporting morning or evening routines (meals, playtime, getting ready for school or wind-down and occasionally bedtime in the evenings)

Qualifications

• Experience caring for young children

• Warm, dependable, and communicative

• Driver’s license preferred (but not required)

• CPR/First Aid certification a plus (or willingness to obtain)
