Position: Early Childhood Educator for Summer Camp
Join Kitsilano Neighbourhood House as an Early Childhood Educator in our Summer Camp, focused on children aged 6 to 10. Your exceptional guiding and caregiving skills will ensure quality experiences for all campers.

In this support role, you will work from August 10th to August 28th, 2026, ensuring that children who require additional support are integrated successfully. This involves engaging closely with children, families, and your team to achieve tailored goals specific to each child. A commitment to high standards of care and effective communication is essential to this position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate integration of children with unique support needs

• Build and maintain relationships with families and staff

• Deliver quality care and support for all campers

• Ensure high supervision standards and safety

• Engage in a collaborative team approach

Requirements:

• Experience with school-age children with extra needs

• Valid First Aid Certificate needed

• Completion of relevant child development education

• Minimum age of 19 as required by licensing

• ECE or ECEA credential preferred
