Job Description & How to Apply Below

Every day, in every country, sex traffickers find new ways to exploit people, on screens and in person. One in three victims is a child.

When sex trafficking and exploitation try to take childhood away, we rally everyone, and everything needed to protect it.

Whether it’s research, prevention, aftercare or education—around the world or around the corner—we do whatever it takes, for as long as it takes.

Because every child deserves a childhood. And every childhood deserves an ally.

What We Value

  • Teamwork: Take responsibility, trust the team: because we make more possible together.
  • Excellence: Bring your best: it’s how you show respect and care for others.
  • Creativity: See possibilities where others see limits: imagination sparks change.
  • Thankfulness: Lead with gratitude: it fuels generosity and thoughtful action.
Position Overview

The Creative Coordinator is a hands‑on creative role for a designer who wants to do meaningful, mission‑driven work. This is not a production‑only position focused solely on executing predefined briefs or maintaining brand standards. Instead, we are looking for a creative thinker and maker—someone who can hold and evolve Ally’s brand while pushing it forward through thoughtful, innovative design.

In this role, you will ideate, design, and manage the execution of creative concepts from start to finish. You will translate ideas into fully realized assets across print, social media, web, and film, collaborating closely with marketing and communications leadership while bringing your own creative vision to the table.

This role is ideal for a self‑motivated designer who is energized by storytelling, current design trends, and using their skills in service of a mission they care deeply about. This role reports to the Marketing & Communications Director and works as a creative thought partner in shaping how Ally shows up visually and emotionally in the world.

What You’ll Do Creative Ideation & Design Leadership
  • Challenge conventional nonprofit design approaches by proposing bold, thoughtful, creative ideas that help Ally stand out and lead within the charitable sector.
  • Balance brand stewardship with creative evolution—honouring Ally’s visual identity while introducing fresh ideas and approaches.
  • Stay informed on current design, digital, and visual storytelling trends, applying them thoughtfully to Ally’s work.
  • Explore and apply emerging tools, including AI‑assisted design workflows, to increase creative efficiency, expand ideation, and enhance the quality and impact of Ally's visual work.
End‑to‑End Creative Execution
  • Maintain a high standard of creative excellence, ensuring all outputs reflect Ally’s quality, care, and attention to detail.
  • Think beyond individual assets to how creative work functions as part of a cohesive digital experience across platforms and campaigns.
  • Design and produce high‑quality creative assets across: print materials, social media content, website and digital assets, video and film projects.
  • Manage the full lifecycle of creative projects—from concept and design, through execution, delivery, and implementation.
  • Adapt and optimize designs for different formats and audiences without losing creative integrity.
  • Partner with marketing and communications leadership to ensure creative work supports campaign goals and contributes to meaningful audience engagement.
Project & Workflow Management
  • Independently manage multiple creative projects at once, balancing priorities and deadlines effectively.
  • Coordinate timelines, assets, and approvals to ensure smooth implementation of creative work.
  • Take full ownership of assigned creative initiatives, managing priorities, timelines, and execution with minimal oversight once objectives are defined.
  • Work closely with marketing, communications, and other internal teams to understand goals and translate them into compelling visual work.
  • Contribute creatively to campaigns and communications planning, not just execution.
