100 Ways began at the corner of a desk inside our sister company, Canada Gold, rescuing beautiful gold jewellery pieces that were destined to be melted down. As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a Social & Content Specialist to help shape our day-to-day presence across social and digital channels.
Role DescriptionAs Social & Content Specialist
, you will play a key role in how 100 Ways shows up across social platforms and content touchpoints and use performance insights to continuously improve how our content resonates.
Working from a clear brand strategy and campaign direction, you’ll translate ideas into a consistent and engaging social presence, planning, creating, publishing, and refining content over time. This role sits at the intersection of content creation, publishing, and performance
, and is well-suited to someone who enjoys building structure around creativity.
This is a full-time position working primarily from our Downtown Vancouver office.
This role offers an annual salary range of $55,000–$68,000 CAD
, based on experience and qualifications.
You’ll work closely with the Marketing Department Manager and collaborate with partners across e-commerce, email, paid media, client care and product teams to ensure content is thoughtful, well-crafted, and designed to live across multiple formats and support business goals. Responsibilities will include:
Social Content Planning & NarrativeDevelop monthly social content plans based on campaign direction and business priorities
Translate high-level strategy into a clear, consistent content narrative across social channels
Build and maintain a consistent posting cadence, tone and visual standard, balancing structure with creativity
Plan, schedule, and publish content across priority platforms, primarily Instagram and Tik Tok
Content Creation & ProductionCreate high-quality photo and short-form video (up to 1min
30) content aligned with brand guidelines
Capture, edit, and adapt content designed to be reused across:
- Social media (Instagram, Facebook, Tiktok, Pinterest, and other relevant social platforms)
- Website (Shopify product and collection pages)
- Paid advertising formats (Meta, Pinterest, Reddit, Shop)
Edit and adapt UGC, ambassador, and event content for brand use
Organize and maintain content assets to support efficient reuse and consistency
Community & Engagement- Inbound: responding to comments and DMs in a timely, brand-aligned way
- Outbound: proactively engaging with relevant accounts, creators, and conversations to build connections and visibility
Support improvements to DM workflows and response processes
Help strengthen community connection and brand presence through thoughtful engagement
Performance & OptimizationReview and analyze content and social performance metrics to understand what resonates and what drives revenue
Use insights to refine formats, cadence, and content planning over time
Collaborate with the Marketing Department Manager to identify high-performing organic content to repurpose for paid advertising
Contribute to the development and iteration of paid social creative formats
Brand, Events & Outreach SupportSupport ambassador and creator initiatives, including outreach, coordination, and content capture
Assist with gifting logistics and tracking
Support event activations through content capture, live posting, and post-event assets
Contribute to general marketing content needs
Tools & Technical Skills- Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Lightroom)
- Comfortable using Canva for templates and fast-turn content
