About This Team
The Raw Material Junior Developer will support the commercialization of New ideas In Season/Pre Season in the world of print, garment dyed and colour developments to meet the determined technical quality standards and to deliver to the highest level of aesthetic and performance attributes to be sure quality and design/concept intent are achieved to Lululemon expectation.
You will also properly input all the technical and design information in the system and keep record of the development status.
Core Responsibilities
Facilitate the development workflow from the beginning of the process through the technical developments and to release the seasonal readiness
Deliver the seasonal input of the developments, in the colouration world, based on the agreed GTM calendar gates
Collaborate with the RM colouration team members to ensure full transparency and awareness of the technical development expectations and risk along multiple track seasonal deadlines and to achieve optimum development efficiency
Build strong relationship with the cross functional partners in design, merch and product development providing clear delivery directions and seasonal readiness expectations
Understand key business drivers and applies this knowledge to accomplish own work
Own and complete additional special projects, duties and assignments as needed
Maintain data integrity in Flex PLM and other relevant systems
Create, update, and ensure accuracy of colour BoMs throughout the season
Qualifications
Based in Vancouver
Superior rating off Munsell 100 colour test
Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline or equivalent professional experience; focused training in Technical Design, Pattern Making, Product Development or relevant experience preferred
2-3 years of relevant experience (preferably within Raw Materials, Print Design or Development, Technical Design or Technical Development or Product Development, Product Management, Sourcing departments) or other related field driven by the technical aspect of the product creation process
We will consider candidates without a degree if the industry experience demonstrates a technical background
Knowledge of fabrics, and print development process and timelines Comprehension of end-to-end product life cycles, able to manage multiple calendars within tight deadlines with ability to communicate clearly and objectively
Strong Knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word,) Photoshop as well as Smartsheet, SharePoint, FlexPLM Adobe Design Illustrator

lululemon’s compensation offerings are grounded in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and team performance.
