Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Producer to join our team. This role owns the end-to-end concepting and production of our video assets, including You Tube, social media, and TV as needed. You will be responsible for creating and managing timelines, coordinating with internal and external teams, and ensuring all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
In addition, the role leads efforts to deeply understand our customers—conducting research, interviews, and focus groups—to ensure all video creative content is rooted in real customer needs and delivers meaningful, problem-solving storytelling. This role is hybrid and will be located in Vancouver, BC.
Vancouver-based and Toronto-based team members work in-office every other week (Tues–Thurs). Core attendance is required from 9 AM – 3 PM on these days to support business priorities.
What You’ll Do- Project & Schedule Management:
Develop and manage detailed production timelines and workback schedules. Track and manage projects in Asana, ensuring clear visibility of progress, priorities, and deadlines for all campaign assets. - Production & Logistics:
Collaborate with internal and freelance teams to ensure a seamless production process. Research, book, and confirm filming locations, securing all necessary permits. Serves as the primary point of contact during shoots. - Team & Stakeholder Alignment:
Lead and facilitate production meetings to ensure all teams, including creative, marketing, and external partners, are aligned on project goals, timelines, and deliverables. Proactively share updates with stakeholders, keeping them informed about project progress and challenges. - Customer Insights:
Lead customer insight efforts to deeply understand audience needs, pain points, and behaviors through research methods such as interviews, focus groups, and surveys — ensuring all creative outputs, especially video content, are grounded in real customer problems and drive meaningful engagement. - Budget & Vendor Management:
Manage the video production budget. Source prices, advise on vendor capacities including but not limited to wardrobe, HMU, catering, car detailing, franchise partners etc., and handle invoicing and spending tracking. - Asset & Workflow Coordination:
Monitor the delivery of campaign assets, ensuring they meet required specifications and quality standards. Collaborate closely with filmmakers and editors to align all production elements. Identify and implement new tools and workflows to enhance production efficiency. - Talent & Paperwork:
Coordinate talent buyouts for a large roster of on-camera and print talent, ensuring all usage rights are properly secured. Handle all production-related paperwork, including finding, booking, contracts and invoices for talent, crew, and equipment, voice-over talent. - On-Set Production:
Prepare for shoots by ensuring all necessary equipment is available and in working condition. Ensure raw footage is organized and securely backed up within 24 hours of the shoot. - Post Production and Administrative Support
- Ride-along truck days:
Coordinate with franchises for monthly ride along days where our videographer or social content creator will accompany trucks to capture content.
- Proven experience as a production coordinator or producer, preferably within a fast-paced creative or marketing environment.
- Strong understanding of video and TV production processes.
- Experience with project management tools, particularly Asana.
- Exceptional organizational skills and a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and external partners.
- Familiarity with production budgeting, invoicing, and vendor relations.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to travel for on-set production.
Salary Range: $65,000 – $82,000 per annum
