In your role, you'll join CBC/Radio-Canada as an Associate Producer for two positions in the Unreserved program, dedicated to amplifying Indigenous voices. You must possess strong editorial skills and an unwavering commitment to representing Indigenous perspectives. Work includes generating story pitches, overseeing production details, and nurturing community dialogue through digital platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead story idea development and pitching
• Collaborate with Indigenous experts for relevant content
• Participate in production and post-production activities
• Engage audiences through social media content creation
• Write informative online pieces that resonate with the audience
Requirements:
• Minimum two years in a radio broadcasting role
• Strong knowledge of Indigenous culture and issues
• Exceptional writing, critical thinking, and social media skills
• Experience in digital editing and CMS tools preferred
• Ability to work well in team dynamics
