The Coal Harbour studio of ILM Vancouver is looking for a Senior Motion Editor. You will specialize in retargeting motion capture performances and mentor junior animators. Your background in high-end VFX and motion blending will be crucial in meeting quality standards for animations of characters and props.

Key Responsibilities:

• Retarget and edit motion effectively

• Improve actor performances with non-destructive techniques

• Fine-tune character interactions and gestures

• Develop fluid transitions between animation clips

• Mentor and assist junior animators in their growth
Requirements:

• Degree in Animation or equivalent experience

• Proficiency in Motion Builder, Blender, or Maya

• Strong knowledge of retargeting and animating

• Detail-oriented with effective communication skills

• Approach problems proactively and collaboratively
