As part of a talented team at Sony Imageworks, you will take on a project-based full-time role. Your primary responsibility will be to create engaging digital effects, including fire, smoke, and water dynamics using Houdini. Collaboration and problem-solving are essential as you refine your techniques in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create FX elements and animations for feature films

• Develop artistic solutions adhering to technical directions

• Ensure compliance with productivity and quota targets

• Participate in team reviews and dailies processes

• Accurately implement feedback and notes for alignment

Requirements:

• Strong ability to generate various digital effects

• In-depth knowledge of Houdini and simulation techniques

• Past experience in feature film productions is a must

• Familiarity with Linux systems and collaborative tools

• Attention to detail in behavior mapping and dynamics
